Freestyle Digital Media has released the trailer for Jaunt, a romantic dramedy about a spontaneous road trip along California’s coast. The film will premiere on worldwide digital platforms on April 21.
Written by J.R. Rappaport and directed by Alexi Papalexopoulos, Jaunt follows Paul, a washed-up photographer, and Madeline, a free‑spirited Parisian, whose chance meeting in Los Angeles sparks a cross‑coast journey to San Francisco. Their voyage through sunlit towns and rugged coastlines becomes a study of vulnerability, regret, and new beginnings.
Blake Worrell and Emanuela Boisbouvier star as the central duo, with Montana Newsom in a supporting turn. Freestyle Digital Media, part of Allen Media Group, secured the film’s VOD rights directly from the filmmakers, paving the way for rental or purchase across digital services and TV platforms.
Director Papalexopoulos describes Jaunt as an exploration of escape—two strangers who meet at the wrong time for the right reasons, discovering that distance can’t outrun the parts of themselves they’re trying to leave behind.
For fans of character‑driven road movies, the trailer promises sun‑soaked scenery and an intimate, dialogue‑driven romance on a memorable California arc.
