Esk Secures £2.6 Million Funding to Grow Maverick Live Concerts

Esk, a Scotland‑based live‑experiences outfit, has secured about £2.6 million in fresh funding. The round was led by Maven Capital Partners and also includes participation from the Maven Venture Capital Trusts and the British Business Bank’s Investment Fund for Scotland.

The investment will fuel Esk’s push into immersive shows built around popular IP from Netflix, Paramount and BAFTA, among others. Since launching four years ago, the company says it has staged more than 550 live experiences and operates a proprietary media control system to orchestrate performances.

Recent credits include Top Gun: Maverick – Live in Concert and Ocean In Concert, showcasing Esk’s ability to translate beloved worlds into live formats.

Esk CEO Sam Weatherstone described the funding as a strong vote of confidence and said the extra resources will help expand the company’s capabilities and reach.

Immersive, in‑person projects have become a growing trend in entertainment as rights holders explore new ways to monetize and engage audiences.
