Focus Features Boards Anything But Ghosts From Barker and Tomlinson, With Aaron Paul Attached
Focus Features has acquired Anything But Ghosts, a new horror project from Curry Barker and Cooper Tomlinson, the pairing behind That’s a Bad Idea. Barker directed and co-wrote the film, which also stars Tomlinson; Aaron Paul has signed on to join the cast, with the ensemble led by Tomlinson. The project stands apart from Ghosts, their film that just wrapped production.
Details remain scarce, but the announcement confirms a high‑profile collaboration in the genre. Jason Blum of Blumhouse and Roy Lee’s Atomic Monster will join forces for the first time on this project, with Steven Schneider of Spooky Pictures and Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath of Divide/Conquer producing.

In Focus’s broader slate, Barker’s Obsession remains on the map for a May 15 release, while Tomlinson is set for a recurring role in Taylor Sheridan’s The Dutton Ranch, also arriving May 15.
