The image signals that the long-gestating sequel is finally moving forward, with its action rooted in a wintry Gotham.
Robert Pattinson is set to reprise Batman, joined by Colin Farrell returning as the Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordo n, and Andy Serkis back as Alfred. Barry Keoghan is also expected to appear again as the Joker, according to the report.
Reeves co-wrote the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin, and the film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 1, 2027.
