Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler are commemorating The Last Five Years’ 25th anniversary with a new live album, drawn from their recent London Palladium engagement. The cast recording is set to arrive April 20, with Atlantic Records handling pre-orders.
During a Friday performance at the Hollywood Bowl, the pair revealed the project, which captures their Palladium run in London. The release is described as a compact, celebratory document of the show and its score.
The Last Five Years traces the fractured timeline of lovers Jamie and Cathy, a musical that debuted in Chicago in 2001. It later spiked a 2014 film adaptation, and a 2025 Broadway revival starring Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren. The London Palladium run now lives on through this new live album.
Platt and Zegler are also extending the show’s footprint with a limited tour, including two performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York on April 6 and 7.
