CAA has unveiled the lineup for the 11th Moebius Film Showcase, a two‑day event that spotlights graduate filmmakers and their short work. The festival runs May 27–28, 2026, and features ten student short films drawn from top film schools.
Participants come from the American Film Institute Conservatory, New York University, Columbia University, Chapman University, the University of Southern California, Florida State University and the University of Texas at Austin.

Moebius Labs and guests
The festival will feature Moebius Labs, a program of workshops and informal conversations that connect filmmakers with seasoned creatives, producers and agents. Highlights include a session with screenwriter Julia Cox in conversation with Liz Suggs, producer Jessie Henderson, filmmaker David F. Sandberg, and CAA’s Motion Picture literary team.
Evening appearances and leadership
Returning to Moebius events are alumnus Max Barbakow, the Palm Springs–set filmmaker, and an Oscar‑winning writer‑director who will participate in a forthcoming evening program. Both are set to host sessions and deliver opening remarks.
