Apple TV+ has renewed Margo’s Got Money Troubles for a second season, signaling a strong year for the streamer’s original comedies. Adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s novel, the series follows Margo Millet, a recent college dropout navigating sudden responsibility and financial chaos with wit and vulnerability.
The returning cast includes Elle Fanning in the title role, with Nicole Kidman as Lace and Nick Offerman portraying Margo’s father. The ensemble is rounded out by Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington, as the show expands its world.
Season 1 drew acclaim and culminates in a global finale set to stream on May 20, 2026. With Season 2 currently in pre-production, creators promise more of Margo’s fearless spirit and the series’ characteristic mix of heart and humor.
Fanning has described the experience of bringing Margo to life as a personal highlight, calling Thorpe’s story both original and deeply human. She teases that the forthcoming episodes will offer a wilder, more vivid continuation for viewers.

Season 2 is now in pre-production and headed for Apple TV+ as the story progresses beyond the first season’s events.
