Jamie McShane, recently seen in HBO’s Task, has joined the ensemble of the forthcoming thriller Win or Die. He’s lining up opposite KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Angela Lin and Walker Hare as filming moves forward. Dennis Donovan is guiding the project as director.
The film centers on a prisoner who volunteers for a brutal, corporate‑run program named 2ND-C, pitched as a path to freedom through deadly trials. Inside a closed competition bubble, contestants face ominous, speaker‑delivered tasks while global audiences bet on who will survive. The hard rule is clear: succeed and walk free, fail and die.
Producers include Rebecca Gomberg, Hare, Donovan, and Diana Rivera Vera, with Donovan and Hare also serving as co‑writers. In addition to the core cast, the film features Devin Nelson, Scott Thomas, Roland Lane, Brian Konowal, and Ted Monte.
